Ok, Thanks. I'll do a compression test and throw it back on the scanner to see what we can find. How do you go about doing a compression test on a cummins motor?

to do a compression test, you need to pull the injector, and have the propper adapter to fit the injector hole

I had a diesel tech look at it yesterday, he says the rings are toast. Can't beleave Dodge isn't doing anything about this.
I'm not happy with Dodge at all, my whole family has chyrsler vehicles and we are all considering getting rid of them due to dodge's customer service, there basiclly telling me im SOL.
