Truck warmed up for 20 mins 30deg. outside. Drove 60 mph for 25 miles and went to change lanes when engine light came on lost engine power then stalled. Would restrart only to stall out immediately. Filled tank 150 miles ago. Never had problem before 117000 mile on vehicle. Going to repl. fuel filter and ck for bad fuel tomorrow. Anything else I should ck for.
Engine did not smoke when power was lost.

Any Help Appreciated

Cool

Put a catch pan under your fuel filter housing, open yellow drain valve, when it stops draining turn key to on (not start) listen for the fuel pump and see if its pumping fuel to the catch pan! Might be a bad fuel pump in tank!

Just to add to that, bump the starter for a moment (but do not start) this will make the pump cycle for 20 seconds vs the 1.5 seconds when you just turn the key on.

If no fuel comes out or there is very little pressure, then the lift pump is toast.

Your truck has a Lift pump It is mounted on the side of the engine. Their is a fuel filter housing there also.
CEL will come on when the fuel pump is toast??? IDK that... I learned something new today
You will need to get codes and let us know what they are.

That was my next question. Is there a way to get blink codes or do I need to hook a Diag. tester up to it

was told by dodge that upgrade goes in fuel tank now. Is there a company that make an aftermarket one to replace stock one.
