recently lost an injector{elec short| on my 07, 5.9 at 50k miles. a buddy lost 2 in the last 3 months same truck with 80k. is this common to this motor?

not really most i have heard they will crack that has a lot to do with fuel and getting water in fuel.. Since water don't compress like diesel fuel the pressure has to go someplace and they crack.. Or the mileage is high and just get worn out and needs to be replaced....
