Default ctd test drive.

Drove a new 010 CTD slt quad cab 2500 short box, If you ever want one with a sun roof, you need to be a midget, no head room for any one over 6 feet tall.

Highs, its really quiet, handels like a truck, rides like a truck, but not much more improved over the last gen 2500, I hate automatics and this trans was all right, I would compare it to a GM turbo 400 with a shift kit, shifts were firm.

Intrieor door pannels really remined me of my 04 f-150, this truck had every option you could get in a SLT and the price was more than any brand of truck is worth, 60 grand cdn.

I'm convinced the roof line is lower and ride hieght is lower, the fold down arm rest, consoles is a carry over, rims and rubber a carry over, the storage under the rear seats is a joke as is the two door chevy inspired dash board.

The 2010 Ram 2500 is a nice truck, but Motor trend most be getting kick backs from Dodge or I'm really trying hard to justify the MRSRP.

Thiers never shortage off power, truck gets moving dam quick with a 373 ltd slip, no issue with power from the 6.7 CTD.

All brands have high MSRP for diesel trucks, only advantage with Dodge is the CTD is quiet, or the sound deading in the cab is improved.

So, I'm not joining the CTD crowd, Dodge in Canada is now offering a 1500.00 rebate on the CTD, I'm keeping my money, only reason why the 010 Ram 2500 did not win me over was the intial price.

A hemi with a auto will not do, a hemi with a 6sp is ideal, but dodge killed that option and I'm not paying 8 grand just to get a manual.
