Ya that mother F'er will not come out. I even put in some liquid wrench into it made sure not to get any in the turbo. But the thing is still in there. Next time i take it apart i'll try something new to get it out.

hi i have 227k on mine and there aint no pick or small screwdriver taking it out, i had to use a medium sized flat blade screwdriver to start getting it out and had to use a bit of force as well, once i got it started i used the small screw driver to finsh the job.
once i did take it out i cant say it made much difference but i run stock everthing.

ya i'm going to try it again tomorrow when i take the filter off. I will try to use two screw drivers to get it off. but i am worried about ****ing up the turbo. i hear it is well worth it...i love the whistle sounds of a turbo going down the road.
