I have a 2010 Laramie 3500 with rear backup camera. I have owned the truck less than two weeks, the rear back up camera is malfunctioning. The screen is flipping, turning green. The screen functions normally on all other screens. It looks as though it is a t.v. with bad reception. Anyone else had this issue with the camera? Any help would be appreciated. The dealer is 250 miles away.

 

Check the camera's cord in the back of it. mostly hitting a bump sometimes or a real bad pot whole might lossing it up. other then that its a truck man does it really need a camera? alothough it would have saved me two bumpers .

 

I like to use it to hook up my boat, quads, and camper so yeah I do need it. That is one of the reasons I bought this truck. That said, if they can't make something that can withstand the ride of an HD they should keep them out.

 

well you also have to keep in mind that its probably the first year that they put a back up camera in the bumper. There will be problems along the way the first time around. Best thing to do is call a car stereo place. They'll be able to tell you a little better what might be wrong with it.

 

I have a 2010laramie 1500 and the camera has gone haywire. Geen and red flashing. Taking it to dealer on monday. will let you know what I find.
