I am wondering if anyone would know what a used diesel engine is worth? My friends 6.0 power stroke went out the other day. I have a another friend who just took a part a 2001 f350 dually with 106,000 miles on it. What would the engine be worth? I know this is a ford question but I am a faithfull dodge owner and figured you guys would be the best to ask.

 

dont think a ferd diesel is worth any thing lol!!!!
but seriously my thoughts on an 01 powerstroke with 100k would be worth prob 3 to 4000 up here in canada if thats any help to you.

 

i work at a salvage yard and i think we just priced one around 2700. could probably get 3k out of it since its so low miles

 

Thanks My friend ended up saying he would take 2500 for it, But yes pricing them on ebay they went for 3500 and up. Is the ford worth fixing?????? Well I'll just say this I am glad mine says DODGE.
