Default Lost fuel pressure then came back

Hey guys I have a 2002 dodge 2500 w/6spd. On the way home from work about a 3 miles from the house my fuel pressure dropped to 0, at idle it would come back up to about 3psi then back to 0 when i gave it gas. Went ahead and finished driving it home since it wasn't far, when I got home I shut it off and tried to strat it back up and it started fine and the fuel pressure went back up to 12psi.

Is my lift pump on it's way out or could it be something else?

Thanks

Check that filter Change it if you haven't changed it in the last 6k.. Also if it has been Change it anyways... If it still gives you fits again its getting time for a lift pump.. You don't want to run it very long under 4 psi under that and your killing your Vp44 injection pump
