Default 2001 cummins defrost problems

Have a 2001 cummins 2500 and my defrost won't work. All vaccume lines appear to be fine and my blend door, recirculation door are both working along with both actuators. I don't know if this is a control **** problem or what? Any suggestions?

Did you check out the vac motor? Diesels need to make a vac to make that kind of stuff work.

Also check out here (https://dodgeforum.com/forum/dodge-cummins-diesel-88/) Might help you better than I can and WELCOM!

Dam you FF! While I was writing this out you beat me too it.

Na havn't checked that yet that's next before i go ripping into the dash to check the mode door. I sure hope it's just a vacuume leak or just the selector mod and not anything huge. Thx...

Default 2001 cummins defrost probs

What also leads me to believe it's a vacuume prob is both actuators and controls move real slow and lose vacuume during driving on interstate, we'll see after i get it hooked up. Yeah i work for a fire department here in nashville tn.

OH Well when you figure it out let Us know..
I'm not a firefighter.. When I bought my truck I took my wife to work and a little Boy i'd say he was 3 or 4 years old pointed at my truck and said look mommy a Fire Truck.. I thought that was Cute when I go home I found DF and joined with that name... But I do respect you guys though.. You guys do save lives. My hat is off to you.. Thanks for being a Firefighter...
