The truck will start but the batteries were dead so i am going to go pick up new batteries and see if that will take care of some of the codes and then I will get back to you.

ok that would be my first start cause your alternator cant charge a dead battery and will set voltage low codes. you have 2 batteries so it would be enough to start it but wont keep it charged.

I can start the truck but the batteries were dead before. I am going to replace the batteries and see if that removes any of the codes and then get back to you

diesel trans dont have solenoid a and b they have solenoid made for direct shifts ex. 3 - 4 shift solenoid
i would start diagnosing why its voltage is low. i would look into a wiring diagram and see if they are related somehow.
i will do it for you but i wont be able to get back to you till later tonight

ok i would get under the truck and check out the 8 way connector that the 48RE transmission has.
Its gonna be the transmission solenoid assembly
Cavity 6 is your DARK GREEN/TAN WIRE for your 3 - 4 shift solenoid control
Cavity 7 is your YELLOW/LIGHT BLUE for your torque convertor clutch solenoid control

Follow the wires as far as you can because if anything its gonna be a short to ground. It wont be open because that would lead to a 5 volt or 12 volt reading

Im not completely positive that this is an electrical issue, unless it just happened 1 day with hardly any noticable symptoms.
You dont have any blown fuses do you?
If all the wiring to that 8 way round connector appears good, I would say its time to drop the pan.
