Default Losing Prime

Okay, my lift pump went out and I started with the cheaper parts during the diagnostic process and replaced the fuel filter. Then I realized I had to replace the lift pump. After I got it installed, I hooked everything back up, primed it up and drove it. It ran like its never ran before, excellent throttle response and power. Here's the problem.....

After I shut it off, it only takes a couple of minutes for the truck to lose prime and I have to bleed injectors 1 and 3 to get it to start again. I've checked all of the fuel lines from the lift pump to the filter canister and made sure the banjo fittings were tight....there are no leaks anywhere, I've checked that.... We recently lost our van due to an electrical fire and this is our only mode of transportation so I desperately need help!!! Why is this truck losing prime????
