I have to going up steeper hills...that's why I asked for some torque upgrades.

i am ruinning my 05 3500 5.9 auto at 65 and almost 2900 RPM with no load??? good or bad???

Ok. I wasnt sure if you towed all the time locked out of OD or what.

What gears you have? Gotta be 4.10s, and that almost seems high to me. Only have driven 3.73 trucks so Im not sure what 4.10s are like.

I dont see why. Seems his 3.54s (just noticed that BTW) are killing him when it hits OD. On the flat it'd be fine, but Im sure on hills it seems like a dog.

Another option would be to look into regearing the truck to 3.73. Doesnt seem like much, but gears can make all the difference in the world.

I will try the gears first...I want to keep it as stock as possible. 3.73 I think will be best for me. I don't care about acceleration.. I care about maintaining my speed towing.
