Default wouldnt start

This morning, my 97 2500 wouldn't start. the engine turned over, I could see the fan spinning, but just wouldn't catch. I tried the primer button, made no difference. Didn't even sputter, just kept turning. Finally after a few minutes, it fired up just fine. Didn't have any problems, until I shut the engine off a few minutes later, and it wouldn't start again. Any ideas?

sounds like a problem with the shut off solinoid or the the relay that controls it, if it does this again, have someone crank it for you and take a look at the shut off solinoid and see if its working, it should pull up on the lever as soon as the engine starts cranking

Anyone have a picture of the solenoid? I've seen some arms/levers down there, I think there's more than one, maybe not.

If it doesn't start after work, I'll have my coworker give me a quick hand.

Awesome, thanks. I haven't really had any trouble with it. Once it didn't start right away, so I just bumped the engine over a few times, and it started right up. But, next time I'll watch and make sure it's that.
