Default 05 cummins white smoke at start up.

The truck has almost 80,000 miles. For the past month after i let the truck sit over night and start it up in the morning it starts really rough, stumbles a bit and blows a cloud of white smoke out. It goes away after a minute and idles and drives great the rest of the day and starts fine after driving it around. I thought it was just bad diesel but it hasnt changed. As far as i can tell it doesnt blow out white smoke as im driving around and there is no loss in power. Any ideas?

sounds like a possible leaking fuel line, allowing air in the system while parked for a bit, but doesnt mean it will have an external leak, check the lines, and maby the filter
