How to change out fuel injectors on a 2006
Looking for what I need to purchase from a automotive shop that would allow me to change out the injectors at home. I am fairly mechanical but I don't want to rip apart the truck and have to keep running back to the automotive store.
Looking at what gaskets, seals, anything particular that would be needed.
What about special tools, whats needed.
A guidline would also be helpful.
Thanks

On a scale of 1 bieng easy and 10 being hard i would put it at a 6 or 7. The only special tools you will need is a torque wrench and some crowsfoot wrenches to snug up your fuel lines, and a lot of paitience especially with the injector at the rear of the engine. You also need to be very clean and everything you take of keep it in order. Also make sure you are at TDC before starting as when you have replaced everything it makes it easier to do your valve lash adjustments.
There are plenty of write ups on here some where on how to do it.
Good luck.
