Default p-pump govenor spring adjustment

i have been having issues with my 4k GSK, it has had a dead spot in the throttle from about 1200-1600 rpm's, and wanting to run out of power around 3300-3400 rpm's and pop and sputter around 3600, i started by adjusting as per directions, with digital calipers, reset it like that a few times, then i set both springs at 4 clicks then to 5 clicks, and still no real difference, so yesterday i decided to try my own expiriment, i loosened the springs all the way again, went untill i felt the first "soft" click on the adjuster then set them both at 2 clicks, and what a difference! smooth throttle control over all rpm's and it will get t 4000 rpm very easy now now it operates like it should, if having any of these issues, maby give this a shot
