Transmission issue
2005 Dodge Ram 2500 Automatic Diesel.
Sometimes first gear, not available. 3rd and 4th gear are slipping when towing.
Received a code, P1756, Govenor low pressure.
recently had transmission serviced, and they adjusted the bands.

And being you have a CTD, we will help you get over to that section so maybe someone can help.
How long ago was if serviced and why was it serviced? For regular maint or other issues?

my guess is an open wire in the gov pressure sensor circuit.
if you have a multimeter you can check it yourself.
