ok i dont believe the emissions came out until mid 07-08 when the 6.7's came out and if they did have emmisions before that it can all be easily removed with a sawsall, we have an 04 with 95000 and have only had 1 problem, the lift pump went at about 60k, cummins covered it 100%, they even paid the towing bill, 162000 on a cummins manual is not bad if its never been chipped or pulled hard, the automatics tend to be a little less reliable and i would get it check out, the body will last as long as you take care of them, my 96 was super clean when i got it, zero rust, i have had some issues, still no rust but a couple hail stones and a mailbox have done some slight damage, my grandpa has a 90 power ram, it looks the same as the day it rolled off the assembly line, i saw a 99 with over 520000 miles on the factory drive train its all how well you take care of it, and if you are gentle or hard on them

ok well this one i found is like a couple hours away so right now im only going by the pics on the dealer website and it looks good but i am worried about all the other mechanical parts on the truck b/c that is what is going on with my 1500 now with the miles i have on it and the motor is starting to use oil to and it never use to do that either and i would never buy an automatic i think its stupid to buy a diesel with an automatic cant really use all its power unless you have a manual tranny im still waiting for and email from the dealership hope everything is good because i have been on the hunt for awhile and i dont know how much longer my truck can hold up im trying to put the least money in it possible because of all the things that are wrong with it im either going to sell it or junk it when i get a new truck so thanx guys

seem people on here dont care for the Edge, two of my friends have them without any issues, thats what i would get, hypertech makes a pretty cheap on and one of them had that before the edge
