bully dog filter question

My dad has a bully dog filter on his dodge diesel truck. Is it ok to use k&n filter cleaner and oil to recharge his filter or does he have to use bully dog brand? Thanks guys, Jerry

it will be fine, i use k&n kits on my AFE
