Default Question about a lifted cummins

If a dodge 2500 cummins has an Edge 5 stage chip, 150 hp injectors,HX35/40mm turbo, intake, exhaust, and fass fuel delivery system, will a 6 inch lift and bigger tire make it slow?? Thanks.

The tranny has a shift kit if that helps? i just question because i have driven atleast 2 dodges (gasoline) that were lifted with big tires and they were slow as hell.

you wont notice anything with the cummins, unless you go insanely big, you may want to look into a converter, and definatly a trans temp gauge, the biggest killer is stop and go situations

Gas Dodge's can't hold a candle to the Cummins.

Gas trucks have a lot less torque, and the bigger tires change the overall gear ratio. Diesel's make more power down low and more power in general so it's not as noticeable.
