New to forum and just picked up a new to me 96' CTD and love it. My question is: What can I do or should I do for preventative maintenance on this vehicle? i.e fuel pump, injector pump. It is in fairly good shape mechanically but I want to be proactive and replace anything that might fail. I'm not super mechanical so I will annoy everyone with questions.

Since it is new to you, make sure to change all the fluids, filters, etc. Grease all the front end, u-joints, etc. This way, you know when the last time everything was changed and lubed.

You might want to consider aftermarket gauges for boost, EGT, trans. temp.
