Angry Wvo

Running 10 gal wvo with 20 gal fuel and i have to change my fuel filter about every 1000 miles. I am screening thru a 200 micron sieve then a 100 mic. Sieve then finish thru a 10 micron filter then to tank. I have installed a 150 deg. Heater inline before the filter(fs1232 fleetguard) for the cold weather but i still have to change the filter about every 1000 mi. . Any solutions for this??? (hey dodgge trucker are u out there);0 need your help
thanks mike

got any pics of that set up??? i have tried a 110v utility pump and a filter head with a filter on it but the pump wont push it thru the filter head, even if i heat the oil to 100 to 120 deg., also when changing the filter this morn. the heating element above the filter moved (spun) it is not leaking at the moment but iam sure it will start soon, dont even think it works, any way to take it off to delete it??? in the cummins parts look up, it has a oring above the heater element, stud thru it, that the filter screws on to, what and where can i get so i can remove it and put the filter back on the engine??? and yes when i change the filter it gets power back so iam sure it is plugging the filter.
thanks again MR. TRUCKER

i'm not sure about removing the heater, there is an o-ring there and easy to replace, but i always bypass the original systems, i may have said it before but, it is a transfer pump filter head from perma-cool, it too is a 2 micron filter/water seperator, and mounted down on the frame rail, where its very easy to get too, with a fass pump next to it, then straight too the injection pump...

you may want to split one of the filters and have a look what is in there, its possable you have algee or some other contaminate in there, but wvo is typically hard on fuel filters, ever get that fuel pressure gauge installed?

my other pre filter setup is just a 12 volt pump run through the filter, it is very slow even with WMO, but i know its doing a good job, i just turn it on and do something else and just check on it every once in a while

thanks
no never got the pressure guage installed, ill get the filter out of the trash in morn and bring to work where we have a filter cutter and take a look. the wvo that i get , after i run it thru the sieves and the 10 micron filter screen that i have, looks not bad, but it might go 1500 mi. then have to be changed ----or it might go 800 to 1000 mi. then need changed.. i know u said that u run a bunch of crap thru yours so i thought u might have a diff set up as to not plug the filters so much, i know they are cheap so i guess ill get a case of them tomorrow. i guess ill run this tank as low as i can this time to get as much out as possible then run straight fuel the next tank w/ some cleaner and put a new filter .. mabe i got some crap floating around in the tank.
