Default Fuel filter delete!

Just installed a dual remote fuel filter systems under the drivers side cab on my 05 ctd and removed the OEM filter housing, would anyone know what do i do with the two elec. plugs that were in the oem cannister (heater & water sensor). If i just let them hang, will i throw codes!

I'd have left the stock filter in place, just plug the holes and leave the sensors plugged into it.

agreed--would have been better to leave the stock filter on --more filtering

I left mine in place, but bypassed it. It may still be full of old fuel even.

I did the air dog 150 on my 03. Did the fuel filter eliminator as well and it does clean the engine compartment up quite a bit. The sensors are just unplug and don't throw any codes at all. I did hose the engine off last summer and the water in fuel light came on due to the sensor getting wet but it went out the next time I started it. I recommend it, good luck!

My water in fuel light will come on if the plug gets wet. Putting them in a baggie would solve this issue.

If u are worrying about the plugs and not gonna use them again,i would just take a tube of silicon and goop them full .If u ever had to use them again it wouldnt be to hard to pull the silicon out of the plugs.
