Question down hill start

I have a 2500 dodge 4x4 diesel that keeps loosing it's prime if I park on level or up hill surfaces making it hard to start. However if I park the truck downhill if fires on the first crank. At 193000 miles I just has to put on a new lift and injection pump and don't really want to take a chance of ruining another set of pumps by having to crank 3 or 4 times to start the truck. Does anyone know how to fix this problem as I have checked the lines and cannot find a leak anywhere

Sounds to me like you may have a leak in a line or injector allowing it to drain back..
