Wink all of you will be shocked by this

hey all, got your attention didn't i. i know this has been beat on before, but i wanted some opinions, i'm getting close to 80 k and i want to put a good set of shocks on. the truck is an '07 3500 dually, 5.9 ctd with numerous upgrades, it is mainly towing and carries a 10' camper over many miles, very little city driving. i noticed the front end sort of dip then return to normal yesterday and the bounce is slowly getting worse with the age of the truck. i've done some reading on shocks, and the average shock gives you a good ride by keeping the suspension firm. i think. the really good shocks work by keeping the wheels forced to the ground. do i have these thoughts right in my head or can someone give me the correct explanation and what would be the best shock for my truck, thanks for any help.
