Default v10 / cummins convertion

Got a couple questions about what I'm getting into. I've got a stake truck w/ a dead v10 and a cummins I took out of a schoolbus. I've got the flywheel & torque convertor from a diesel ram. It's the engine mounts I need info on. Will the v10 mounts fit?

no the v10 mounts will not fit, but we need the year of the truck to get you on the right track, but there are mounts avaliable, i have done a v-10 cummins conversion, its quite simple

Default v10 conversion.

I don't mean to hijack this thread but im considering the same conversion. I have access to a 1998 12 valve 2wd in a panel truck. I have a 99 2500 4x4. Is there something I can particularly search for?

it wont be too bad, but with out a donor vehical there are a few things that will nickle and dime you quite a bit, the hardest thing is finding the electrical from a 98-98.5 truck, they sell it new, if you want to pay the price, other than that, most everything else is easy to find from a 98-02 cummins

I would get the entire 98 truck not just the motor. Would it then just be plug and play. Ha.

if it is a dodge cummins, and yours is a v-10, than yes, but you say pannel truck, so guessing its not a dodge? and if you have a v-8 in the 99, your trans will have to be changed asn probably the t-case

Default Diesel conversion

I have a v-10. The panel truck is a 98 dodge ram 3500 front end and a box behind it. Is there a detailed swap you know of on here that I could search and read about. I hate wasting peoples time. I appreciate you answering my questions but I feel like I am wearing out my welcome. Thank you
