Does anyone have any tips or ntk recomendations for installing this fuel plate? The truck is a 96 2500 with really nothing done to it. Im looking for ideas on best placement or whatever else. How to calibrate it or whatever needs to be done. Best way to do it right the firat time hopefully sort of thing. Any help is appreciated. Thanks everyone

i hope you didnt spend hundreds of dollars on one of thoes rediculas things.... they arnt to bad to change, they always tell you to pull the intake horn, i never do, the biggest pain is removing the break off screw from the afc housing, my favorite way is to use a small chisel and catch an edge of the head to break it loose then they normally come out by hand, then remove the other 3 screws and the boost line and your there, as far as placement, foward=more fuel/power, back=less fuel/power, its up to you where you want it, and what your trans or clutch can handel

Well. The trans is a piece of crap. Has been sense the beginning. But yea. So there is no speciall formula to make sure it runs right? Right? I was told awhile back that it takes a few times to dial it in correctly. So that was my biggest concern was getting it to run proper. Thanks

it doesnt affect how it runs at all, it just limits the full fuel flow, if you are just looking for more power, slide the plate and the afc full forward, also backing the afc spring tention off, will help out the bottom end some

Well. Ive put a big honkin air filter on there and didnt make a difference. Is there a certain thing that the cold air does that just a massive airfilter doesnt? I dont want the whistle the only thing you hear like the fords do. I just wanna be able to hear the whistle. Lol. Thanks again. I think someone said somethin bout drillin a small hole in a elbow that comes off the turbo or somethin?
