2007 Dodge Ram 3500 Vibration
Check what speed ur tires are rated for, this may just be me but with the price of fuel I never take my truck above 110km unless I'm passing someone, big trucks aren't ment to go fast, if u wanna go fast buy a sports car..... Lol
Lol! True, but when time is money I try to pick up the pace. Oh by the way, just had my left side universal joint replaced. From what my mechanic told me they should have a grease fitting but the dodges don't have them. Therfore it wore out after 50k miles. I should expect the right side to start grinding any day now.
Just an update to my original post, I finally got rid of the vibration. The dealership balanced my rear tires 'WHILE ON THE TRUCK" I think this was key. I had the tires rebalanced several times by tire shops and had no luck but they did them on a conventional balancer.
I am running a 07 dually ,i asked my mechanic about vibration ,his response if the truck has a two part driveshaft then the steady bearing may be an issue. I am new to the rams so i do not know if they came with the swo part driveshaft. also u joints could cause it.
