Default Free-Spin Hubs

Has anyone installed a Dynatrac or Spyntec Free-Spin hub? If so, what were your impressions of the kit? Is it worth the money? Did you see an increase in fuel mileage? Did the vehicle steer better? Any comments greatly appreciated!!

I have read into the project enough and I'm totally all in. Just don't have the cash right now, it's about $1900 Obummers plus at least and 8 Hr job. Diesel World Nov 2009 issue has a nice article on the whole job done at the Dynatrac facility. If your suspension set-up is mostly stock you'll see at least a 1-2 MPG increase. They claim people have gotten 1-4 MPG on mostly stock set-ups. The whole set-up is stronger then the stock set-up. There was a guy on this site a couple years ago that did it himself, lot's of work but he had absolutely on regrets. If I had the cash I do it tomorrow. My ScoutII had Auto-lock / Manual locking hubs in front. Whenever I drove around with Auto Hub position I got 1.5 MPG less this is what our trucks are doing right now. This whole front driveline is about 175 LBS of weight being dragged along. Good luck and hope you do it, Let us know.

Thanks for the input, I will let you know. I think I'm going to do it in about a month. My ball joints are loose and I'm going to do both at the same time.
