Couldnt resist taking a look at a 2500 with the employee thing going on. Basically same truck as I have now, but only a 2500.

Any issues with these trucks

in my experiences, the only real problem with the new 2500 cummins is a freak code for a fuel line pressure thing that even chrysler has no idea what to do (our instructions are to clear it and if it comes back...we have to call a dodge engineer to come look at it). otherwise it's a strong mother. oh and the intercoolers are crap if you tow a lot...the replacement part is now aluminum on the sides instead of plastic.

on the new hemis...not so much. the only issue to date that's serious is a weak valvespring issue on the early motors that's 99% fixed.

Yep, only one--the first knick or scratch will really **** you off!!! I just got mine!

Other than that, it's an awesome truck. 6-speed tranny has no torque management on it so, full power to the wheels!!

Yes I bought a brand new 2005 Quad Cab 2500 Cummins. Between 65 and 80mph there's a noticable vibration in the rear end somewhere. Took it in and they said the drive shaft angle was off so they shimmed it up...NO CHANGE....its headed back in on Monday. According to the Service receptionist this has been an issue in the past, currently no fix! For 30K plus you can bet I want it fixed!!!! Does anyone else out there have this problem?

We have a 2004, 2500 Quad Cab and we have front end problems. It vibrates really bad while driving down the road. It almost causes a wreck.

We have had our QC 2500 4X4 Hemi since last Oct. No problems at all. Great truck that loves to plow snow, tow, or haul. When new it would stall occasionally when you first put it in reverse with the steering wheel turned to full lock. Looks like the PCM has learned and it drops revs but doesn't stall now. Can't say it enough, great truck...
