anyone know what a fault code p1740 is on a 2005 cummins

ya its the same code mine threw a month or so ago.Called the dealer and they said its common .Something told the solenoid there was a abnormal drop in rpms.It can be anything that did it.They told me if it is the solenoid itself it will throw the code many times.Mine cleared itself the same day it threw it,but the CEL will stay on.I havent got the code since so im not to worried about it at the moment.I would get the code cleared if it hasnt cleared itself and see what happens.
