Canadian standards are alligned with EPA rules so the trucks sold in Canada have the same emissions system.

No matter what you expect you can do about the US EPA screwing up the diesel engines in 2004, there is no cure. Diesel injector systems cannot deal with attempting to burn crank case gas like a gasoline engine. The sludge and moisture fed into the fuel system will ruin any diesel engine.

I believe the vehicles are exactly the same the only difference is that in Ontario and British Columbia, your vehicle needs an emissions test and safety done to renew your sticker on your plates, luckily for me I just moved to Alberta from Ontario and other then getting an out of province inspection to get Alberta plates you don't have to get an emissions test or a safety done to renew your plates, when I get some time I'm getting rid of my cat and muffler and going to straight pipe as long as I don't get pulled over for my exhaust being to loud il be completely legal
