hey guys is it worth putting on the wastegate from banks or any other brand wastegate for that matter?

 

Depends on your set up really... But the stock wastegate is fine if you just add a boost elbow. What truck and mods do you have and what are your goals/what do you want to do with it?

 

the trucks is a 03 2500 quad cab long bed 4x4 6 speed has the edge juice with attitude 4 inch silverline exhaust now without the muffler so not is straight piped and i love it my goal is to get better mileage out of it so im not looking to go crazy on it and o yea it has a southbend single disk clutch in it eventually im going to do the cai put in a fass lift pump and a banks intercooler and the intake horn but i was reading about wastegates so i was curious about them

 

I wouldn't waste your money on an intercooler or an intake horn. They really don't help as much as they are advertised to until you get into much higher HP levels. Your money would be better spent on a turbo that actually breathes. The HE341 on your truck is nothing more than an HY35 with a different ID tag on it. I would suggest something like a 63/68/13. That would do way more for you for about the same money and you would have room to grow later

PS - Banks is overrated and overpriced
