Default 3rd gen axle swap to a 2nd gen?

hey guys im from the gasser section of this forum, but know one has any info over there on this topic, so I thought id ask yall

So I found a set of 3rd gen 3/4 ton axels with 60k miles on them.

They are out of a 03 hemi truck, and with a little research I found they are 9.25 aam front and 10.5 aam rear, with disk breaks all the way around.

The guy wants $300 for both axels and suspension, and $250 for both drive shafts.

My question is has anyone tried this?
I know the contol arms, coil springs and track bar are interchangable, but will they just bolt in?

What other problems would I run into?

By the way my truck is a 99 1/2 ton ram 4x4.

Ive seen this mentioned on other diesel forums but theres really no in depth info on the swap.

i have never had the luxury of doing that particular swap, but from all of my experience with axle swaps, this has always seemed like the dodge holy grail to me. and if you can get all that for 550! do it!! and do a thread
