Unhappy Help! No steering no brakes!

I think I may have posted this in the wrong forum (3rd Gen) yesterday. I'm hoping someone has an easy solution to my problem here.

I have a 2001 Dodge 3500 5.9ltr Cummins Diesel 4wheel drive Dually. I was experiencing problems with my power steering. It was getting hard to turn the truck at low RPM so I decided to put in a new steering pump/reservoir. This is the gear driven model.

I took out the old pump, put in the new pump, bled the lines by lifting the front end and turning the wheels all the way to the left, then the right with the reservoir cap off. It seemed to work fine.

When I put the truck back on the ground and tried to drive off, I had no power steering and now the brakes are just about gone. I noticed that one line from the power steering pump also routes through the brake master cylinder. I am assuming that I need to further bleed the brakes and power steering but am not sure. And if so, what would the procedure be?

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You may need to pump the brakes several times as well during the bleeding process since you have the hydra-boost power brake system.

Default Thanks

You are right. When I finally got everything back together properly, pumping the brakes during the bleeding process is what really bled the system

Thanks for your help.
