I have a 2005 Dodge 3500 with the 3.73 diff gear ratio and I will be removing the front diff to replace the axle seals. I am needing to know if the pinion and ring gear need to be timed when installed. I can't find any info in the shop manual or online. Any info would be great.
Thanks
x2 if your just doing seals you won't have to setup the gear set again... I still have never heard the phrase "timed". Just pull the carrier pound out your seals and put the new ones in.
