Default Diesel won't crank

hey was wondering if someone could help me ou i am a newbe at diesels
but my truck wont start and every thing comes on, on dash all i hear is click click

What year truck, engine, trans?

Sounds like battery dead or dying....

Check the cable connections at the starter and where the main ground goes to the block. Make sure they are clean and tight.
If all looks good, you may just have a bad starter. Remove it and have it bench tested at an auto parts store.
