Default EGR delete

I just bought egr delete from sinister and a smary Jr and was wondering if I install will my truck still regenerate. I can't remove the dpf at this time. Its a dodge 2008 Cummins.

If you install the smarty ME software, then No, it will not regen. On the older smarty SR, if you just ran the "S" software, it would shut off the egr and still regen as required. I don't know if this is the case with the Smarty Jr. On my '08, with the "S" software, you could tell the egr was turned off by the longer warm-up time and the cooler EGT's.

If you try the "S" version you will need to leave everything plugged in, just like stock.
