Default 2011 Laramie 2500 Electrical Problem?

Just got my new truck yesterday. First time diesel owner here.

Anyhow, when transferring stuff from old truck to new, i was using the passenger front door. closed the door, away i went only to come back into the garage 5+ minutes later to find that the led lights on my rear view mirror passenger door were still on, and appeared to be the only lights on.

I hopped into the drivers seat, and it also appeared that the evic was lit with 2 horizontal lines.

turned on the key, turned off the key, hopped out, everything shut down properly.

found some more stuff to load into my cab, used the passenger door, same thing happened, this time however the evic was off completely.

it seems that entering the truck from the passenger front illuminates the light, and is potentially stuck on?

any ideas, or just call the salesman?
