Stopped up air conditioner drain

I have a 1995 Dodge diesol. The drain is stopped up and the condensed water is draining into the truck carpet. I ran a piece of balinng wire in the drain and it helped. What is the best way to keep it unpluggged?

Attach a wet dry vac to it, start AC & let it suck out the trash fo a few mins.
