If the paint is starting to bubble you will be able to save them no problem. The pinch weld on my driver door is starting to bubble but its the only rust on the truck. I think its a common rust point on these trucks.

it blows so bad that they do this..i love 2nd dodge rams, and i mean love them.. this is the weakest point of the body is always the bottom of the doors..what do you reccomend doing? sanding down and lining them??? i wanna adress this issue asap,its in great shape!!

Im not a body guy so cant be sure honestly the correct way to do it. I say grind it down to bare metal. Paint with a rust preventive paint then paint it black or get a spray can mixed with your matching paint. You can spray some bedliner on there too if you wanna go that route.

mine has same issue. rust on bottom of doors and around edges of fenders from tires flinging rocks at them. Lot of people are sanding it down doing the body work to get it somewhat smooth looking, and rhino-lining the bottom 1/4 of the truck..be great to keep rocks from chipping away at it.

id rather sand it all up and then send it to body shop for them to paaint the bottoms. staying away from bed liner trucks to clean

You guys have any thoughts on putting a cowl induction hood on this??? i have one still on my 95 1500, just needs to be matched paint.
