Exclamation Rough first start?? Lots of cranking.

Morning, just joined the forum, first post. 1998 ram2500 24 valve turbo deisel. I am having excessive cranking to get started first thing in the morning, once started it fires up as it should after stopping. only get this after it has sat for a day. any ideas as to why this could be happening? thanks!

lift pump working? check your fuel pressure... also is your grid heater working?

you'll know when it comes on...it pulls quite an electrical load.

Wait to start light goes out real quick. You may have the answer in the grid heater. Cheers matey, appreciate the response!
