How much and where is the oil installed in the new compressor

Typically, if you replace only the compressor, drain the oil out of the old one and measure it. Then drain all the oil out of the new one and measure. Refill compressor with the amount of oil that you drained out of the old compressor. If the compressor failed internally, it is highly reccomended that you replace the accumulator and oriface tube. Again, drain the oil out of those parts and measure and add fresh oil to replace.
