Welcome to DF!

217k is getting up there but it could still look new inside the engine if it was taken good care of. Automatic or manual? Try to find out as much about the maintanence history as you can.

Oil and fuel filter change interval.

Have the injectors ever been replaced?

If automatic, what service has been done on it, rebuilt/ filter and fluid.

Check the front ball joints, always going out on dodges.

Does it smoke at all white or black?

Check for engine blowby- with engine warm, take oil cap off and set it upside down over oil fill hole; if it moves around from pressure coming out of the hole, you have substancial blowby/engine wear and could be looking at a rebuild in the near future.
