Well its a bit of a mess I would say. So close but yet cannot get it to start...

I have a 2003 dodge ram 2500 manual trans. The original motor was obvious 03 cummins with an auto trans. We got it with no motor. The cheapest option at the time was to put an 06 Cummins in the truck with wiring harness and ECM. It currently has a manual transmission.. we will get to that later..

The problem seems to be that I cannot communicate with the ECM to flash it. I know it will run because it started with another persons ECM.

The current ECM is Re-Man. and from Dodge.
We installed a brand new ECM wiring harness also.
