I test drove a ram 3500 duallie 4x4 today and it had a service 4wd light on.
The service light doesn't come on for good 30 secs, but after 30 sec it would show serv 4wd light.
Do you know what's causing this problem? and of course it's the turbo diesel engine. Thanks in advance.

 

now thats a little odd.

when I put mine into 4wd all I have is the light that comes on that tells me I'm in 4wd.

 

Now that's what i would expect, but the serv 4wd light turns on after 30 sec or so.
What would cause the serv 4wd light to come on?
bad fuse?
I tried turning the switch to 4hi to 4lo but it would still turn on.
