Default Instument Cluster

I was driving home the other night when I heard a click and then my cluster lights went out. All other lights work in the truck that I am aware of, not sure about tail lights but I'm pretty sure they run. Even the idiot lights and high beam indicators will light up, but I can't see my speedometer or any of the other gauges or any of the heating and cooling gauges. The mirror warmer light works fine too. I'm not sure if the headlight switch has anything to do with it but that was replaced a couple weeks ago, both the switch and wires. Oh and the cluster panel will turn on for about half a second the first time I pull the switch out but that is it. Any ideas?
