Good day to you all, I bought my first diesel last year, had a hemi before that and had a question concerning the rpm's during wot acceleration. With the hemi when at wot the truck would reach the red line for every gear shift but with the diesel it can't get above 2700 rpm before it shifts loaded or empty. Is this normal or should it go up all the way to red line.

I can't speak to the 2012, but my 08 didn't have any problems revving higher than that. Have you tried it in tow/haul? I wasn't keen on my 08's part throttle shifting points. H&S Overdrive software made a night and day difference.
