Does anyone know of a brand of Bull Bar that can be installed on my 06 Mega CAb 3500 Laramie and still keep the tow hooks? One poster said in 09 he did so with a Westin, but when I looked up the instructions, it specifically said the tow hooks would be removed and NOT reinstalled.
(Maybe he custom fit them?)

I just reviewed the instructions and as the original poster said it shows removing them, can you elborate on how you used both?

And, I have an 05, I could have sworn that Westin's site used to say you could keep the tow hooks on an 06, but not an 05 (but that seems to have changed now). And, Westin doesn't even show an application for an 05 anymore

And finally, where are they 1/2 price at?

 

I did a little more research and looked closely at the install instructions for 2005 and 2006 from Westin (they have different products/part numbers). On the 2005 it says take off the tow hooks, and they mount in place of them, from the front. On the 2006, you cut a slit in the air dam, and it reaches around the bumper and mounts to the frame behind (looks like it uses the bolts for the bumper or the tow hooks from the back).

So, does anyone know if that part of the frame changed from 2005 to 2006? Because I wonder if I could just get the 2006 product? I kind of doubt it, I have to assume Westin had a method for their madness.
