Default 2005 2500 Cummins Engine Rebuild Wont Start

I just rebuilt the motor, also put new injectors in. Won’t start. When I turn the key on the lift pump relay turns on and off and the lift pump runs constant. Also can’t get edge insight gauge set to install or cannot get scan tool to work. Any ideas would be great. Engine was out comple rebuild had 2 bad cylinders, broken rings. Tried unplugging and reconnecting the connectors, did not help. The fuel pump relay just goes click click click constantly, also the cp3 pump is clicking, if i dissconnect the plug on the cp3 pump then the feul realy clicks at half the rate. Is this by chance how it purges the air? If so do i possiably have a leaking connector tube? But this still does not answer why i can not connect insite guage or scan tool.

the relays/pumps should not be clicking.... you have some sort of a connection problem, and sounds like the can bus network is down, maby a missing ground wire, pinched herness, maby a missed connection....

solved the problem, had a ground wire in wrong place. But now i have a new problem truck starts and runs fine, however when it idles i loose oil pressure get error code P0524, not sure if it is the sensor, or another issue, i will have to get a manual guage and check it off the top of oil filter.
